Miguel Sossa
Given the name “El Eterno Viajero” by his family, friends, and peers, Miguel Sossa is a true student of the world’s great cities, with proud Latin American roots in Medellin and Havana. Based in Vancouver, Mr. Sossa’s core focus is identifying roles that cities can play in positively shaping humanity. His focus has been shaped by his travels and professional experiences in inspiring cities from Santiago, Chile to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In particular, he has enjoyed developing strategies to close the opportunity/economic divide for youth, designing community engagement and city innovation hubs, leading resilience efforts for the Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities programs in Latin America, and most recently co-launching and now co-leading Accenture’s Digital IOT Smart Cities business.
Mr. Sossa has concentrated his professional and academic background on exploring the intersection of Smart Cities, Human Behavior Change, Sustainability, and Global Business Development. He was also a former ambassador to the UNFCCC for the University of Michigan where he received an MBA and MS in sustainable enterprise from the prestigious Erb Institute. Finally, outside of work, Mr. Sossa serves on the board of Washington's leading environmental think tank, EarthShare, and passionately enjoys the rich culture of futbol, food, and music from around the world.

Janny Lu
Janny Lu serves as Chief Executive Officer for Ebinger Manufacturing (EMC). EMC is the manufacturer and master distributor for full range of industrial fasteners and construction related products. She is also the CEO of Fasteners & Safety Produtcts, and partner of Jets Glove Manufacturing, with 3 manufacture facilities in China.
Ms. Lu is also the President of Fuchi Textile North America, which is part of Fuchi Textile Company (a manufacturer of all types of fabrics and leather for automotive seating with manufacturing facilities in Taiwan, China, Malaysia and Thailand). Ms. Lu is active in technology-driven investment in China.
Ms. Lu is a recipient of the Michigan Top 10 best businesswomen award in 2001 and also the Presidential Award from President of Taiwan as Top 10 Outstanding Entrepreneur in oversea for year of 2002. She also received Global Business Award form NAWBO Detroit in 2012. She served as President of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in 1999, current advisory board for APACC and DCEA and TCCGD. Ms. Lu holds a M.S. in International Business from Ohio State University.
