eV Score
A decision tool to quantitatively evaluate clean vehicle options
China set a target to have 500,000 units of new energy vehicle on the road by 2015 and five million units by 2020. However, regardless of strong government subsidies and industry efforts, only about 12,000 clean vehicles were sold in China as of 2012. eV Score aims to bridge this gap by providing a decision tool to potential electric vehicle buyers to quantitatively evaluate electric vehicle options (i.e. hybrids, plug-in hybrids, battery electric vehicles) and providing mobility data to vehicle manufacturers and dealers to facilitate better vehicle design.

Our main goal of the company is to diversify a student’s vision of the world, through developing their own interests and pursuits, meeting different people of different fields, and knowing the world beyond the classroom. We do not want people in China to follow a linear path paved for them by society; we want them to pave their own way with what makes them happy. We’ll help them Diversify their path, letting them go where they want to go.

Yuyueling (Online Medical Reservation System [with symptoms diagnosis])
Due to inadequate medical resources, patients need to spare hours in their schedule for medical appointments. Long queues are often seen in counters where people make appointments, as well as outside doctors’ offices when they are waiting for their appointments.

We believe that the problems are a result of lack of multiple ways for reservation. Patients usually only reserve their appointments at the registration counters in hospitals; moreover, they are not informed of time slots that are readily available in other hospitals of the same region. We would develop an online medical reservation system that includes these features: 1) User information database; 2) Keyword extractions; 3) system diagnoses for possible diseases 4) Hospital and doctor matching; 5) Patient online feedback; and 6) Appointment notification and confirmation. When the users type in their symptoms, the system will match those symptoms to possible diseases, which helps patients to decide their need to visit hospitals. If they believe they have the need to see the doctor, they can make reservations through our system.

Membrane for Water: Simple and Clean
Water pollution is one of the most emergent problems in China. A large portion of the polluted water comes from the industrial production process with various pollution components. The traditional wastewater treatment has a lot of problems such as big footprint, low efficiency, and side effects to the environments. Moreover, the quality of effluent is not high enough for the reuse in the industrial process, which increases the cost of industrial production.

We are going to solve industrial wastewater problems by using the membrane technique. The technique that we choose to solve the wastewater problem is a high efficiency, low energy consumption and easy operation liquid-solid separation method. It can be used to treat various types of wastewater by choosing membranes with different component and structure. The market of membrane for wastewater treatment is rapidly increased in the recent years. Our team proposed our own company to provide industrial wastewater solution based on our leading membrane technique.
