The China Business Challenge is a business model competition designed to challenge UM students’ entrepreneurial abilities to tap China’s exponentially growing market and to solve magnitudes of Chinese social, environmental, medical, and technological problems.
A six-week pitch competition against students from different universities
Propose innovative business solutions to social, environmental, or economic inefficiencies in the world to a panel of judges
Grand prize of $1000 and the opportunity to implement business proposals

Open to all college (not limited to UM) students with an entrepreneurial idea at any stage
Teams of 2-6, members can be added or removed at any time
Each team can only submit one business model per round; business model must demonstrate the viability, efficiency, innovation, and financial sustainability of the venture
