2023 PITCH2WIN Events

Goal
​Inspired by the television series called Shark Tank, PITCH2WIN is a pitch competition in which participants present their startup ideas along with its processes and contribution to society. Through this event, our goal is to provide the opportunity for students to share their creativity and passion as well as initial investment they may apply towards their future startup.  ​

Events Overview
  • Participants sign up via Google form.  
  • Participants will be allowed to work individually or in teams of 2-4 people, whom they must list on the Google form. 
  • Participants must also list the industry in which their business/startup idea belongs to. 
  • Due to time constraints, sign-ups will be based on a first-come, first-serve basis. 
  • After participants receive their confirmation email, participants may begin preparing for the presentation, developing ideas, researching (feasibility, profitability/success rate), creating powerpoint, and so on. 
  • During the event, participants will pitch their idea to a panel of judges and any attendees. Each participant is REQUIRED to utilize a powerpoint to aid their presentation to the judges and may ONLY present up to 7 minutes. There will also be a 3-minute Q&A session outside the allocated presentation time. Only 1 participant is REQUIRED to present. 
  • The judges will consist of UofM faculty and/or industry professionals.​
